Trauma is a Dense Energy We Carry
Trauma is not just a memory or a psychological imprint—it is an intense, dense and stagnant energy trapped within one’s being.
The logic is super simple here:
if you resist to feel the emotional experience - you lock it in in your system creating emotional [energetical] imbalance. This energetical imbalance then makes itself apparent in physical, mental and emotional levels.
basically it’s like a shit that you can’t find the inner strength to finally discharge, thus you continue to carry it within your system and the negative consequences of that just build up over time.
the sad truth is that in our childhoods many of us didn’t feel safe to express our intense emotions
because we were repeatedly shown that we will be met with misunderstanding, criticism and/or neglect instead of compassion, love and understanding
this experience in itself is super disturbing and hurtful 🥸💔
thus the system intuitively knows that it’s ‘less of a loss’ if I don’t show / don’t let out the sadness, the anger, the grief, the fear that is taking place inside of me
because the consequences of expressing this stuff would be even more unbearable.
thus emotional suppression arrises
This process of human beings suppressing and keeping their emotions swallowed happens when environment in which we are growing up and developing is not ready to accept and sue those dense and overwhelming emotions.
the ability to accept them and experience fully [within oneself and then thus help other to do the same ] requires a certain degree of emotional maturity and strength (just as carrying heavy weights in good posture requires physical strenght, in emotional plain the same is true)
and that's something that was NOT prominent in the recent generations - our parents, grandparents, grand grand parents…
However, it’s not their personal fault, it’s simply the point where we are at in the evolutionary spiral as a race.
so how to actually deal with trauma?
Firstly, I want to express a huge amount of sorry for people who are striving to resolve their traumatic life experiences at the mental level
as this is how most traditional therapy approaches psychological trauma - with the focus on the mind.
It teaches people to identify experiences, label the emotions, and reframe thoughts around what have happened.
While these methods offer insight, they fall super short to address trauma for what it actually is at it’s core
trauma is not just a thought pattern that needs to be identified and reframed
trauma
is an energetic wound,
a disruption of one’s
soul balance
This is why people who have undergone years of therapy may still feel an underlying sense of heaviness, numbness, frustration and confusion.
…losing hope to finally feel lighter and better WHICH THEN spirals an individual even into more extreme levels of hopelessness.
As a species we are still a bit lagging in our development to see a fuller picture of the trauma phenomenon by comprehending that trauma isn’t simply “in the mind”—it leaves a mark on one’s energetic element - soul/spirit.
Thus it’s that energetic element that we have to work with if we want to address the traumatic life experiences.
being able to understand that
ongoingly providing help for myself
equips me — in one degree or another — to support you in doing the very same: seeing your trauma for what it actually is and working through its density that is weighing your system down.
